If you’re down, sick of winter or need to shake things up, try yellow! I can’t make any guarantees as to it’s medicinal powers, but one thing is for sure – it does not go unnoticed!
See below for how to pair yellow items with other colors – for petite, plus and “average” sized women – because I believe that yellow pairs well with every color. And as always, use these ensembles to inspire based on your budget and shape.
This is a mix up of pattern, color and texture. I like the idea of matching the bold pattern in the skirt with the square layers at the neck of the top. The ruffle neck of the sweater*, curves on the shoe and circles on the necklace soften any harshness. Top it off with a blue bag* that pops and you’re set!
If you’re Plus and like yellow, BUY THIS DRESS NOW! I can’t keep my eyes off of what a gorgeous dress this is and love the flattering cut. These dresses do not come along every day… By pairing the dress with a navy sweater* (or jacket), it is completely work appropriate. The red shoe pops out of this ensemble, as do the white necklace (I love the texture this necklace creates) and a white bag*.
“AVERAGE” (a.k.a. Regular)
The yellow necklace is an easy way to incorporate yellow if you’re not ready to go gung-ho with the color. Paired with the grey sweater and crisp dress, a pair of navy flats and a red bag*, this outfit can go from work to dinner with a classic spin.
Are you ready to try yellow but you’re not sure what shade to go with? Fabuliss can help!
*I repeated the sweater and bag to show you how the same item can work in different colors, paired with different outfits.
